Helping Ritual expand their product line

 
 
 

Ritual is a subscription based vitamin company committed to creating the purest, most effective vitamin formulations. They brought me on to redesign their site in preparation for their pre-natal vitamin launch. I worked with their in-house team to reevaluate their entire shopping experience.

Prioritizing transparency

The Ritual team stressed the importance of visibility. The ingredients detail page provided in-depth research behind their sources and formulation. For users who want to dive deeper, we even directed them to manufacturer interviews.

Updating the checkout flow

One of the biggest design challenge was rethinking the checkout flow. The original checkout system was built around a single SKU. With the release of Pre-natal, users could now subscribe to multiple vitamins or switch subscription between products.

Formalizing the digital brand

Though Ritual had established brand guidelines for their marketing assets, product design did not have a formalized design system. To remedy this, we built a UI library from scratch and worked closely with creatives and engineers to ensure every component met brand standards and had a clear use-case.
